1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Mulligan Labs (mulligan-labs.com), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Mulligan Labs is a real-time multiplayer Magic: The Gathering Commander game simulator. The service enables users to:

  • Build and manage Magic: The Gathering decks
  • Play Commander format games with other users
  • Track game history and statistics
  • Access game replays and logs
  • Interact with other players in real-time sessions

3. User Accounts

Authentication

You authenticate to Mulligan Labs using Discord OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to collect your Discord profile information (user ID, username, avatar, email).

Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Discord account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or access.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service, consistent with Discord's Terms of Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other players
  • Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the service
  • Spoof or impersonate another user's identity
  • Spam, phish, or conduct scams
  • Use automated bots or cheating tools
  • Upload malicious code or files
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent account termination.

5. Intellectual Property

Magic: The Gathering

Magic: The Gathering is owned and copyrighted by Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. Mulligan Labs is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro.

Card names, card data, imagery, and game rules are the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast. We use this information under fair use principles for educational and entertainment purposes.

Mulligan Labs is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card data and images are provided by Scryfall. Decklists are imported from Archidekt and MTGGoldfish.

Mulligan Labs Platform

The Mulligan Labs website, software, and original content are proprietary. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or modify the software
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the application
  • Distribute, sell, or sublicense the service
  • Use the service to create competing products

User Content

You retain ownership of decks and content you create. By uploading or sharing content, you grant Mulligan Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display such content for the purposes of operating the service.

6. Disclaimers

As-Is Service

Mulligan Labs is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

No Warranty

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Game results are fair or accurate

Third-Party Content

We are not responsible for third-party services (Discord, Scryfall, Cloudflare) or their availability, accuracy, or policies. Use of these services is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mulligan Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or game progress
  • Loss of revenue or profits
  • Service interruptions
  • Any other damages arising from use or inability to use the service

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. User Data Backup

While we implement reasonable security measures, we strongly recommend that you regularly export or back up important game data, deck lists, and statistics. We are not responsible for loss of data due to service failures, bugs, or security incidents.

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time and for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Abusive behavior toward other users
  • Unauthorized access attempts
  • Cheating or exploiting bugs
  • Non-payment of any applicable fees (if applicable in the future)

Upon termination, your access to the service and all associated data will be revoked.

10. Suspension of Service

Mulligan Labs may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from service changes, suspension, or discontinuation.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, when required, by requesting affirmative consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

14. Entire Agreement
